What is Music Production in Schools?

In 2015 we began delivering a version of our iCreate project to primary school pupils. Modified to suit younger age groups the project began as a partnership with West Lothian Council and is set to expand into Inverclyde and North Ayrshire this year and uses cutting edge technology to build a range of transferrable skills.

The Commission for Developing Scotland's Young Workforce stated that ”there is nothing more important to Scotland's medium term economic future than getting the skills of its young people in tune with the very fast changing skills, technology and knowledge requirements of the modern world” and noted that a continuum should exist from primary school through to employment. This project aims to give young people in Scotland an excellent start on that journey.
