Businesses, charities and households are invited to join our Zero Waste Tech Pledge Initiative and become part of the environmental commitment to reduce electronic waste.

Our initiative aims to reuse IT Equipment and extend its lifecycle reducing the vast amounts going to landfill.

The Digiask Zero Waste Tech Pledge Initiative will support local businesses and the community by;

  • Refurbishing donated equipment helping businesses reduce their carbon footprint and achieve net zero.

  • Providing high quality, rigorously tested, refurbished IT equipment for reuse in small businesses to reduce costs.

  • Donating free repurposed IT to people facing hardship within our community and enhance standards of living.

  • Improving the performance of existing technology already in use within business an the home and reduce expensive upgrade costs.

By joining the initiative, organisations will agree to minimise their environmental impact by;

  • Reducing their electronic waste by donating used equipment for refurbishment and reuse

  • Having their own IT equipment refurbished rather than replaced wherever possible.

  • Work with us to dispose of old IT using an authorised WEEE specialists for recycling when IT equipment is deemed no longer useful.

We replace every hard drive in every machine we refurbish. All original hard drives of donated devices are removed, replaced and securely erased before recycling for Data protection purposes and peace of mind.
