Music Connections

What is Music Connections?

Music Connections works in partnership with local organisation Your Voice - Inverclyde Community Care Forum (ICCF), where we deliver music sessions that encourage people local to Inverclyde and refugees to connect through a mutual passion for music. The group uses the history of their native country as inspiration to write original songs, which allows Inverclyde locals to learn about cultures that they have had no previous knowledge of, and for the New Scots to learn more about their new community. These sessions will culminate with recordings and performances of the songs created to celebrate the multiple cultures of our participants.
