What is iCreate?

iCreate is a music technology activity for school children and young people in Scotland. It has reached more than 1200 young people between the ages of 12-18 in the last 6 years and currently works with young people who have Additional Support Needs. Its purpose is to widen access to high quality music technology tuition and equipment, stimulate interest and build expertise in the next generation of creative practitioners and has to date produced 300 recordings.

It has been supported by Creative Scotland since 2013 and has run in partnership with Inverclyde Council, Glasgow City Council and over 30 Schools across Inverclyde, Glasgow, Renfrewshire North Ayrshire, West Lothian, Stirling and Highland local authority areas.
